Soho House - Manchester
Manchester
Soho House Manchester occupies the former Granada Studios in the St John’s district, marking the brand’s first House in the North of England. The redevelopment of this iconic broadcasting building brings together guestrooms alongside dining and lounge spaces, a late-night music venue, members’ gym, and a rooftop pool and bar, extending Soho House’s UK portfolio beyond London.

Robena delivered bespoke soft furnishings throughout the House, working across bedrooms and shared spaces to meet the varied functional and aesthetic requirements of each interior. The scope included layered window treatments, heavily textured fabrics and tailored upholstered elements, alongside cushions with feather inners and detailed finishes.

Sheer curtains in organic linen were used throughout, paired with heavier woven fabrics where greater structure and durability were required. In the bedrooms, a bespoke tapestry panel was produced to conceal the television, designed by Caroline Dowsett a local Manchester artist and developed as a tailored solution for the space.

Delivered across multiple floors and varied interior schemes, the works required close coordination between design, manufacture and installation. The project forms part of Robena’s ongoing collaboration with Soho House across their worldwide portfolio.
