The Chancery Rosewood

The Chancery Rosewood

Mayfair, London
The Chancery Rosewood marks the landmark transformation of Grosvenor Square’s former US Embassy into one of London’s most prestigious hotels. Designed by Sir David Chipperfield with interiors by Joseph Dirand, the project reimagines a Cold War icon as a contemporary masterpiece of quiet luxury. An all-suite property comprising 144 guestrooms, world-class restaurants, a 750-person ballroom, and signature public spaces, The Chancery Rosewood represents one of the most significant hotel openings of the decade.

Robena delivered the complete soft furnishings roll-out across the hotel, managing every element from concept to completion through our fully in-house team. Each detail was crafted to complement the architectural restoration and Joseph Dirand’s refined design language, from bespoke curtains and sheers to tailored pelmets, trimmings, and motorised systems.

Among the hotel’s signature spaces is Carbone London, the Mayfair debut of the renowned New York restaurant. Here, our team created entrance curtains in plush velvets finished with tassel trimmings, handcrafted swags and tails in deep red velvets for the host stand, and delicate café sheers framing the bar. Each piece was paired with bespoke brass hardware, designed to bring depth, warmth, and harmony to the restaurant’s theatrical interior.
