Our longstanding relationship with this remarkable property is a testament to our expertise and craftsmanship. Originally a 1970s office block, the building has undergone three transformative refurbishments, with Robena selected each time, to deliver the bespoke soft furnishings. Our journey began with its transition to The Curtain Hotel and continued when it was reimagined as the award-winning Mondrian. Partnering with renowned designers Goddard Littlefair, we crafted a seamless fusion of elegance and functional design. Now, under Virgin Hotels, we have once again tailored bespoke furnishings, perfectly complementing their bold, contemporary aesthetic.
Our work featured a striking mix of floor-to-ceiling wave curtains and sheers to complement the red-brick façade and striking Crittall-style windows throughout the guestrooms, public areas, and communal spaces. Every piece was meticulously tailored to blend seamlessly with the hotel’s industrial aesthetic, balancing refinement with functionality.

From concept to installation, we delivered tailored solutions that celebrated and redefined the building’s industrial heritage, amplifying its edgy design ethos.
